Recovery Is Possible
Healing from a large number of conditions is possible. It does not need to involve sketchy treatments that have negative side effects. It does not need to cost a lot of money (although I do recommend therapy if you can afford it). It does not need to include challenging diets or weird supplements. You can heal in the comfort of your own home.
The caveat is that, for many of us, recovery is not quick or easy. But here’s what’s important:

How to use this site
There is a lot of information on this site, which I hope will be helpful for anyone dealing with chronic conditions, but which I also understand can be difficult to get through for people who have crippling fatigue or brain fog, as I did with Long Covid.
Ideally, I recommend starting with the Understand sections (listed in the menu), and then moving through the Healing Techniques one at a time. If you’re really motivated, you can immediately start trying either JournalSpeak or the brain-retraining techniques to help Build a Sense of Safety.
HOWEVER, if you’re struggling to function, and reading everything on here is too much, I recommend starting simple with practicing acceptance and self-compassion while you rest. You might also try to find some Somatic Meditations that you can listen to while you rest.
Regardless of where and how you start, please also make sure to take the time to review the posts in the “Learn more” sections at the bottom of each page. In those sections, I’ll go deeper into how the techniques work, the science I’ve learned about them, and perhaps most helpfully, that’s also where I’ll describe what I did for each technique and other relevant experiences that I had.
Ultimately, I believe all of the tools and techniques on this site are necessary to learn and practice in order to retrain your brain, regulate your nervous system, and regain your health and well being. But you don’t need to — and shouldn’t! — start them all at once.
